This role specifically focuses on selling security technologies and services to governments and the private sector, primarily concerning the infrastructure, transportation and aviation sectors and, on continuing to successfully acquire customers globally. This driven person will be responsible for the full business development sales cycle; from prospecting, to qualifying, closing, negotiating, and so on. In addition, this person will help define security solutions, product requirements and pricing to continue their innovation and success in this vertical. Sales activity will be carried out by phone and face-to-face with qualified leads. The representative will also respond to RFP's/RFI's in some instances.

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
Must be able to work legally in Canada.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Fluency in second language (French and/or Spanish are preferred).
Proven track record negotiating with governments on large infrastructure projects.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Must be comfortable dealing with senior executives in the private and public sectors.
Proven performance closing multi-million dollar business deals.
Understanding public procurement procedures.
High level understanding of Information Technology and/or Physical Security is an asset.
Experience in the aviation sector is an asset.
Post-secondary or equivalent in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Commerce, or Information Technology
