Vibra-Sonic Control is a privately owned company that specializes in effective solutions for noise and vibration problems for commercial, institutional, and industrial markets. In the past ten years Vibra-Sonic has branched into interior acoustics specifically dealing with sound masking and paging systems. The company has installed sound masking in over 1000 corporate offices and medical facilities across Canada.

We are seeking a self-motivated, dedicated, and knowledgeable individual to assist our Team Lead Project Coordinator with the implementation of Sound Masking and Paging Systems into commercial offices. Reporting to the Team Lead and Regional Manager, the Assistant Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the overall coordination and administrative support to the project team, and will help guide projects from development, design, estimating and bidding, through to completion, occupancy and the warranty period.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain excellent relationships with owners, architects, designers, consultants, and sub-contractors
- Implement and enforce Vibra-Sonic’s Corporate Health and Safety Program
- Assist with the coordination of sub-trades on commercial build-outs, office renovations, and occupied tenant spaces including costs, schedule, quality and project status.
- Assist with the coordination of in house staff to meet project deadlines
- Ordering and shipping of project materials as required
- Submittal of shop drawings and system specifications as required
- Development of budgets, proposals, and purchase orders
- Administrative duties include:
o Conducting travel arrangements
o Maintenance manuals as required
o Development of marketing material as required
o Maintenance of all office supplies and ordering as required
- Perform additional assignments as per the discretion of the Regional Manager and Team Lead

Knowledge and Skills:

- Education - high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Good communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Minimum 2 + years in a construction setting would be considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail
- Must have the ability to work independently and part of a team
- Excellent Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook)
- Flexibility to adjust hours as required to accommodate strict deadlines
- Valid driver’s license for travel to sites as required
- Ability to work well in a high stress environment
- Deadline orientation with the ability to prioritize and plan tasks
