Client Care Account Manager (Former Employee) –  Toronto, ONAugust 24, 2016
If you are seeking job security in a client services role, this job might be the right fit (it is unionized after all).

There are also plenty of benefits (e.g. good hourly wage, plenty of vacation days, sick days, a float day, medical and dental benefits, etc).

But with all of these perks, there is always a string attached....
As I have previously mentioned, there is a string attached....

The client services coordinator role is very demanding, and there are high expectations from mid and senior management to have little to no margin of error whatsoever.

Sometimes, mistakes happen. But do not expect leadership to be lenient. In fact, there is this unrelenting sense that perhaps that they will put the blame on you...

Awful place to work
RPN (Former Employee) –  Eerie St.ClairAugust 19, 2016
Terrible management, that creates a toxic work environment. Employees treated like they are expendable. Labour laws ignored, human rights code violations, employees safety and nursing licences put at risk under threat of being fired. Lowest pay of ANY nursing organization in this County. No raises unless you fight for it and even then they are very minimal. HR does nothing to prevent or address bullying when you submit complaints. Senior management turns a blind eye to problems when you attempt to address problems with them. ZERO support in any respect. Nurses being forced to preform skills they are not trained or qualified to preform with zero assistance at all provided as clinical lead is never available and management won't allow you to receive training or assistance from colleagues. Constant calls after hours or on vacations. Vacation or days off approved but then refused last minute. Nurses who are not trained being placed on call and putting clients at risk. The list goes on and on.

This is hands down the worst place I've EVER worked in ANY field.

Here, I honed my caseworker skills by managing a caseload of 40+ community members with a variety of mental health concerns. I did home visits and provided one-on-one care for people dealing with the loss of letting hoarding items go. I love this company.
