Job Description

As an Outside Sales Representative/Consultant, you will combine your sales and marketing skills with your expertise in the IT field. Your specific duties will include:

  • Making sales presentations to prospective clients at their business locations (appointments will be scheduled by our inside marketing team)
  • Analyzing prospective client’s operation and requirements and coming up with the best solution for their situation
  • Generating price quotes and putting together proposals
  • Project management, including communication between our development team and the clients
  • Maintaining customer relationships for new/reoccurring businesses

Job Requirements

As an Outside Sales Representative/Consultant, you must be self-motivated and personable with a hunger to earn and a drive to succeed. You must have an optimistic attitude and a commitment to providing great customer service. It is vital for your role that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, and that you have the ability to easily establish rapport with potential customers.

Specific qualifications include:

  • Minimum of college degree; Marketing, Business, and/or IT degree preferred
  • Previous marketing/sales experience; minimum of 2 years
  • Computer proficiency
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and insurance
  • Professional appearance and demeanor

Substantial base salary, plus commission.
