Our client is looking for a talented Sales & Business Development Specialist with previous experience within either the medical, legal or insurance industries. The Vancouver executive team is made up of young highly qualified medical and business development experts, who enjoy a great deal of flexibility and recognition within their positions. The company is doing extremely well in other markets across Canada and the Vancouver team is seeking to attract that key person who will help them produce the same results in the Vancouver Lower Mainland market.
You must enjoy working in a fast paced environment and be a master at rapidly adapting to change. You are smart, effective, solutions focused and can meet metrics. As this is not a typical 9-5 position, flexibility is key. Your work day can include visiting potential clients during regular business hours, while occasionally attending networking and social events outside of your normal work schedule.
Equally important as results are your core values. You must have a passion for customer service and thrive within a team oriented environment. You are self-aware, approachable, detail orientated, enjoy being accountable and responsible.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Contact and qualify prospective clients
- Be able to clearly explain the merits of the company’s offering
- Operate and represent the firm with the highest level of integrity and work ethic
- Bring in new clients using a highly professional consultative sales approach
- Existing contact list
- Solid contacts within ICBC, WCB, personal injury law firms, insurance providers, etc, an major asset
$50 000 with incentives + benefits such as medical and extended health and possible stock options
