Verizon is a great company to garner business acumen. There isn't much room for growth (especially in call centers).
For the past five years the company has undergone re-org. As a result, many tenured workers (15 years plus) have left the business, as jobs moved to southern states.
The pay is great. The company aims to become world class, so come with – more... your A game. Keep in mind--you must own your own career-- little to no help from management.
Work life balance is to be desired,specifically for call center employees. Policies and procedures need a serious redo-- far to stressful for people with families. – less
