Here’s your opportunity to take a leadership role in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that uses the latest open source packages and technologies – from our backend Java server, in-memory OLAP cube, VSTO/C#.NET Excel Add-in to our front-end HTML5 JavaScript application. You’ll be exposed to incredibly interesting platform development, lambda functions, Mongo clusters, JSON-based Web Services, parallel programming and scaling techniques to serve thousands of concurrent requests.
While providing technical leadership to our highly competent engineering team, you will:
Lead and build a team of top developers to imagine, design, build and release added function and features
Be responsible for architecting and building software products
Translate business requirements to technical deliverables
Craft innovative solutions and roadmaps to launch
Mentor team members
Take the lead on investigating new technologies
Skills & Requirements
BS, MS, PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related technical discipline and/or equivalent experience
4+ years’ leading Object Oriented application development efforts using Java, C# or C++
First-hand experience in developing software solutions for clients
3+ years’ experience in providing hands-on leadership to small teams
Enthusiastic about mentoring other developers
Passionate about technology and can envision the possibilities
Creative and innovative problem solver
Loves to learn new languages, frameworks and tools
Superior communication and analytical skills
