Financial Advisor (Current Employee) – Princeton, BC – 17 November 2016
Good benefits package and paid holidays. Not so good about updating procedures in a timely manner. Co-workers are great! No support after training is completed. Work gets piled on without any support. Sell, sell, sell!!
The job was fast paced, and very time consuming with different tasks during the day. Very people oriented and Made it very fun to work there.
Member Service Representative (Former Employee) – Vernon, BC – 17 February 2014
You would arrive at work an hour before the branch opened and start to balance all the machines and do daily recording sheets to make sure the branch was balanced, - Help members with various transactions, and find solutions to any of the problems, always putting the members first. - I learned so much about the financial industry, sales skills, people skills, and how to become a very effective employee. - management was very helpful always telling you ways to improve and would have monthly meetings to discuss goals. - co workers very supportive of needs and goals. -hardest part of the job was being under staffed and trying to deliver a hire standard to our members which was not possible at that point in time. -most enjoyable part of the job was being able to solve peoples financial difficulties and learning new skills to better help someone. -being able to offer some of the best service and being rewarded with awards and bonuses.
free lunches, rewarding if successful, new people to talk to all the time, easy to learn and grow in the company.
under staffed, politics prevent growth within the company.
