retired miner (Former Employee) – Copper Cliff, ON – 17 January 2014
meet with crew at start of shift and discuss the days work. go over safety for previous day and present days work. See what other work was being done in other parts of the mine. The hardest part of the job was when equipment was broken and you had to wait for it to be repaired and the most enjoyable part was that you did the job safely and efficiently
Could be a great company but a lack of leadership and direction makes it difficult to feel confident in your job security. They offer limited to no training, and it is difficult to want to advance as middle receives no support from upper management. However the schedule is excellent and the pay and bonus are very good.
excellent schedule, good salary
lack of comunication and strained relations between staff and hourly
