The Tender Administrative Support position is responsible for researching potential customers, sourcing the correct contacts and gaining insight into tender lists that are available for us to apply to, acquiring tender requests, then collecting and preparing all required documents and pricing in order to close tenders on time.
-Screening bid opportunities
-Assisting proposal department with internal communications
-Building and maintaining a database of contacts which can be used for direct marketing purposes
-Manages tender department schedule
-Responsible for building and maintaining a database of contacts which can be used for direct marketing purposes.
-To research a wide range of information to gain useful data the company can use for various purposes
-Understand national and local tender processes
-Produce method statements where appropriate
-Maintain a database of our company tender general information for ease of future use
-Contact customers where appropriate to understand their service needs
-To creatively write to ensure that we have a high chance of being picked for tender
-Work cooperatively with Sales and Marketing Team to ensure we maximize our potential as a company.
-Coordinate with various departments to build and submit tenders and prequalifications
-All other duties assigned by manager
-At least five (3) years of experience
-Strong internet knowledge for downloading and uploading large documents
-Experience and knowledge of the tender process and work closely with project estimators to ensure documentation is in order
-Experience with compiling information for Pre-Qualifications is helpful.
