Urban Quarry requires a Human Resources and Payroll Manager, to be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, controlling and evaluating the operations of the Human Resources Department. He or she develops and implements policies, programs and procedures regarding human resource planning, recruitment, training and development, occupation classification and compensation and benefit administration. He/she represents management and participates actively on various joint committees to maintain ongoing relations between management and employees. The Human Resources and Payroll Manager develops and manages employment programs, salary compensation and job evaluations, promotions, equal opportunity initiatives, and training programs. This individual will also be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of preliminary and final payroll reports, time sheets, spreadsheets and funds distribution, assuring compliance with all applicable federal and provincial regulations, and company policies. Other duties will be assigned as necessary.
