Community Development Coordinators for Student Nutrition Program
The Upper Canada Leger Centre for Education and Training is looking for a Community Development Coordinator for the “Food for Learning” Program in Renfrew County.
10-15 hours per week, annually renewable contract position. Ideal candidate should be bilingual and able to work in a flexible work environment with minimal supervision. They must have access to a reliable vehicle and have a valid driver’s license. Knowledge of community organizations, nutrition and community health will be considered assets.
The Community Development Coordinator will provide ongoing support to elementary and secondary school student nutrition programs, including:
- consultation regarding best practices
- development of effective support networks
- ensuring a reliable reporting process
- other duties as assigned
