The Advancement Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and executive support to the Faculty’s fundraising and alumni relations programs.
The successful candidate will have several years of administrative experience in a complex, dynamic and fast-paced environment. Must be confident, organized, and an accomplished problem solver. Proven ability to prioritize tasks; ability to make independent decisions and to collaborate as required. Excellent interpersonal skills required; tact, judgment and diplomacy are essential. Must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Proven skill in preparing reports, letters, agendas, notes and other materials to a high standard. Exceptional attention to detail required; proven skill in records management. Financial skills, including monthly budget reconciliation and expense processing; familiarity with trust and endowment funds an asset. Experience organizing special events preferred. Intermediate-level skills in the use of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Sharepoint and Raisers Edge an asset. Experience in an Advancement context is an asset.

Salary range is between: $39,612 – $49,515
