The Department of Biology, University of Saskatchewan, is seeking to fill a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in Plant Cell Biology commencing July 1, 2013. Preference will be given to a candidate who uses advanced imaging and microscopy techniques to address fundamental questions in plant cell biology. The successful candidate will be expected to develop a vigorous, independent, externally-funded research program. The department is dedicated to an interactive and experience-based approach to the education of its students. The candidate will participate in both the undergraduate and graduate teaching programs, with specific responsibility in cell biology. Applicants must have a Ph.D. and relevant post-doctoral experience with an established record of research excellence.
