Research Technician II (Current Employee) – Toronto, ON – 19 July 2013
Working environment is lab dependent, because each lab is running by individual Principal Investigator. Overall, I found it is comfortable working in UHN, because there are rules that protecting employee. Co-workers are friendly and helpful. However, the job security is not so good because research labs are depending on funding.
Clinical Nutrition Intern (Former Employee) – Toronto, ON – 19 January 2018
By shadowing different staff, I have gotten the chance to demonstrate skills in a real-life setting. Through UHN, I was able to experience what it is like to work with patients, conduct literature reviews, and use clic-oriented software (e.g. EPR).
