E.I.T. (Former Employee) – Calgary, AB – 28 January 2015
Unless your at the senior management level don't expect to be significantly valued. Some of the old-time co-workers are fun to work with, and senior level management can be hard to deal with at times. Hardest part of the job is dealing with management, most enjoyable is the 9/80 work schedule (every second Friday off at sacrifice of working 9 hours/day) and working with some brilliant well known industry professionals. As well on the downside is that, at least in my experience, compensation seems to be significantly below industry average. My advice is to get in, gain knowledge and experience, then get out and look for more promising positions elsewhere.
