Service Manager (Former Employee) – Burnaby BC – 13 June 2012
Great venue that I worked at. Upper managment not able to get respect of employee's due to poor decisions. Well trained techs Hard to work with other branchs as no structure through the company. Great benifits No room for advancement unless you are part of a "gentlemens" club and the company thinks of you as a number and not a person. Very metrix and number orientated company and expect you to get them by whatever means.

Unique/ interesting line of work, always changing, fast paced
Inside Sales Representative (Current Employee) – Brantford, ON – 17 May 2017
United Rentals provided a unique line of work in the Trench Safety Division.
A typical day was utilized by taking rental orders, producing a paper contract, assembling the products and arranging truck dispatching to get product to site.
Answering all incoming calls and making follow up calls to customers and handling walk ins also filled the day.
Workplace culture is diverse and fun. the management has not been a very positive experience for me, as they did not manage to keep a branch manager for long while I was employed. I get along well with employees and is is fun to be at work most days.
The best part of the job is being involved in some very large project within the construction industry.
Equipment Associate (Former Employee) – Edmonton, AB – 4 May 2017
Work days were great hours. Work was relatively easy with some difficulties occasionally. Learned a substantial amount about how propane reacts and behaves and how to work with and service heaters. Hardest part of the job was moving heaters where they needed to be, often through deep snow or mud or both. most enjoyable part of the job was building friendships with the guys you work with.

Heavy Duty Mechanic (Former Employee) – Fort McMurray, AB – 30 December 2016
management in most places of branches are not the greatest , the workers are fine but management is another story. They push to get equipment out the door even tho its not ready to go , they expect mechanics to say good to go when its not , then your putting your ticket on the line , there number 1 thing is make as much money as they can whatever the cost may be , be very carefull with them if you work with them .
ok place to work if youn have no ambition to get anywhere in life
Equipment Associate (Current Employee) – Regina, SK – 15 December 2016
I have been a positive employee for the company for 5+ years. I've taken on several rolls for the company and received no recognition for my service. I believe that before things turn worse its time for me to become a valued team member for another company and hopefully be successful together
Account Manager/ Outside Sales Representative (Former Employee) – Edmonton, AB – 9 November 2016
Nice group to work for. Co-workers were all great people. The hardest part of the job was learning the different systems they have in place, and the corporate chain of command. Not much training at the local level. Overall, a great experience, from which I learned a great deal.
HET Technician 2 (Former Employee) – Sherwood Park, AB – 1 November 2016
All in all a good company to work for, hard to have much life outside of work if you're in a service truck though. Only real downsides are the regular miss communication you get with a company this size.
Took everything i could give, then cut me loose (diversity)
Manager (Former Employee) – Sherwood Park, AB – 24 October 2016
Hours of employment where fair time for family given excellent benefits and fellow employees .Gave them everything I had moved about company as asked ,when things got tight they no longer needed me and cut me .
