A growing company
Co-Owner/Operator (Current Employee), Wichita, KSJuly 8, 2014
Pros: new company, very diverse in services offered
Cons: do not get regular pay yet since customer base is so low
As the Co-Owner/Operator of Unique Services, LLC, I know we are just starting and are up and running, but are working on gaining more customers. We have just started as of May 2014, so we are still working on building the company as a whole. We have jobs here and there, but it does take time to build a brand new company. The employees I have are phenomenal, – more... as they are patient and understand this takes time. The meetings run smoothly and our marketing is off to a great start. – less

My most recent past jobs were office positions where I worked with computers, paperwork, and money. But, my current position is in a factory. It is a completely different atmosphere. I caught on very quickly. I enjoy the company and helpfulness of my current co-workers.

It's not a bad company but would be much better if they could place you at a temp to hire full time job more often. I have only been offered short term temporary jobs on that they are good about contacting you and putting you to work

A fast paced production environment
Loader (Former Employee), Danville, VAAugust 28, 2013
Pros: free party favorites and gift cards
Cons: underpaid
I worked as a loader for boxes that were sent via UPS. I also worked a labeling machine that posted UPS labels on the boxes prior to them being shipped. The job was very fast paced and once was done by three persons. There was a downsize of employees that caused the job requirements to change. On extremely busy days, there was help given to assist me – more... with the job; however, it was a job designed for more than one person . I had 2 different supervisors in my work area while I was there. I had the experience of two different styles of supervision and the latter one was not very productive, I did not receive much assistance from that person and loss a lot of enthusiasm about the job because of how I was being treated.I worked well with my team members, found out about the numerous Dollar Store locations that exist and were being built. This company was privately owned and made party favorites that were sent to Dollar General stores nationwide.Management placed high expectations on the employees and with minimum salary compensation. I enjoyed working with others in the workplace, everyone was very friendly. – less

Had a great time working with Unique Solutions. Days are more of fun with students or professional since the profile was counseling of the courses and sales of the software. Learned how to communicate with professionally and personally, since it was the first profile. Management was well occupied with knowledge. co-workers were friends and college mates. – more... The hardest part was nil. And the best part of the day is going to work. – less

Positive work enviornment with a team goal of making consumers experiences pleasant and accommodating to their needs
Secretary / Receptionist (Former Employee), Freeport, NYJuly 3, 2013
Pros: family atmosphere
Cons: few breaks
Typical day at work would begin with making follow-up phone calls to customers regarding updates on their service, verification of information, and their satisfaction with the repair performed on their vehicle. As well as filing new customer information, documenting receipts, and communicating with the mechanic team in order to ensure that the tools – more... needed are ordered and available on time.

As an employee at Unique/ K&K Auto BMW Repair Specialists I learned how to effectively communicate with a high demand of customer and multitasks/ I also learned necessary teamwork skills.

My co-workers were very positive and kind. Everyone worked together to ensure that the customers received persistent updates, commendatory explanations regarding mechanical issues, and great service.

The most difficult aspect of this job was maintaining cleanliness in the mechanic area. As a secretary and the front desk Rep, it was my duty to ensure that the presentation of the business was ample for high quality customers but during the day when all mechanics were hard at work, car parts and auto fuel/oil tend to cause a mess. In order to maintain safety of this oil issue, customers were not allowed in the mechanical area in which became an issue of difficultly due to customers wanting to see how their car repair was going.

The most enjoyable part of this job was receiving reports of the customers satisfaction. I also enjoyed having multiple tasks to complete at once, knowing that at the end of the day all my duties and goals were completed through hard work and professionalism. – less

Professional and top notch temporary agency
Accounting Clerk/Receptionist (Former Employee), Chicago, ILApril 25, 2013
Pros: excellent salary
Cons: not enough work in my field of study.
Temporary assignments in my field of accounting were rare. Other assignments were for unskilled labor, but, I excelled in them and quickly worked my way up to supervisor in many positions because of my willingness to do whatever it took to get the job done. Unfortunately, because most of the positions were not in my field of study, I was not able to – more... obtain permanent employment through this agency. – less

Manufacture/Inspector/Material Handler (Former Employee), Litchfield, ILFebruary 24, 2013
Pros: free lunches, vacation time, set schedual
Cons: layoffs
While I enjoyed factory work I felt this agency did not push employers to hire their workers. I was regularly on time, a top work quickly improving my skills to advance in job department. I became a product inspector and lead assembly lines in product preparations. I found my management leaders looked many time to me to train and assist new members, – more... and found all my work enjoyable. – less
