What we do:

  • Wireless fixed and mobile digital television and radio broadcasting
  • MMDS equipment for digital television, voice and data (wireless triple-play)
  • Military RF and calibration applications (TACAN/IFF)
  • Passive components including filters waveguides and coaxial parts
  • Machined fabrication of metal and plastic products
  • Mechanical engineering services
  • Cable Harness Systems for High and Low frequency applications

At this time, UBS is looking to hire an experienced and skilled CNC Machinist for machined fabrication of metal and plastic products and components for complete transmissions and wireless telecommunication systems (e.g. transmitters, waveguides, modulators, receivers, etc.)

This is a temporary and full-time position.

Pay is $25.50 hourly, for 40.00 hours per week.

Candidate must have completed minimum college or vocational school and be ready to present a copy of diploma. Completion of university is an asset.
Candidate must have at least 5 + years as a CNC Machinist or Technician fabricating (custom) metal and/or plastic parts.
Candidate must speak, read and write English
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables, set-up and operate computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools, repair machine tools and parts, adjust CNC machinery, fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance, verify dimensions of machined tools and parts using precision measuring instruments, maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments, document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances, maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports
