You're either in or you're out. What is most confusing is that one day you feel like you're in. Like you're one of the popular kids on the playground and then the next day you're contorting yourself trying to pull the knives out of your back.
Management is a pot pourri of intelligent, experienced and respected members of the community to the entirely opposite end of the spectrum to management appointed by virtually time spent. And heaven forbid anyone disagree. There is one train of thought and, how did that go again, "if you aren't on the bus, you're under it." Infamous.
My colleagues are generally a good group. Hard working, loyal, proud and sincerely want to see success for the cooperative and be part of that success. It is the toxicity of management that breeds apathy and fear.
