The software you will be helping to build is part of a telecommunications service delivery platform. This platform enables seamless communication and content consumption across desktop computers, laptops, mobile devices, and other hardware (like smart TVs).

UXP is looking for an experienced BA/Systems analyst with real-world experience who is capable of working closely with a technical and agile team in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide systems analysis for client solutions and product enhancements
  • Act as the product subject matter expert with detailed knowledge of product functionality, processes and best practices
  • Work closely with clients, partners and internal resources to

o Identify and document solution requirements, use cases & designs
o Work closely with the technical delivery team to ensure client solutions meet the defined requirements
o Develop and execute test plans for client solutions
o Provide coordination of project activities with clients
o Develop and deliver client solution documentation
o Be willing to travel to client sites as required

  • Plan and execute detailed system requirements phases and identify, track, and resolve business systems issues
  • Assess, research, analyze, and document stakeholder needs, selecting the appropriate information gathering and/or modeling technique to elicit requirements
  • Recommend business solutions that satisfy stakeholder needs, while continuously exploring and assessing options for value-add for clients
  • Prepare appropriate documentation and ensure adequate end user training for assigned projects

Relationships & Communication:

  • Effectively communicate and build rapport with clients, team members and stakeholders through all project phases
  • Facilitate small- to medium-sized project meetings and cross-functional interviews
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and stakeholders as needed
  • Resolve conflicts and appropriately escalate as needed

Must Haves:

  • Demonstrated abilities in detailed systems analysis, requirements gathering, documentation and software testing
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interact at all levels with customers and vendors
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction

Nice to Have:

  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science, IT, or Business Management


  • 3+ years as a Systems Analyst, preferably in the Telecommunications industry
  • Previous hands-on experience working with BSS, OSS and / or mobile and web-based software products
  • Strong understanding of telecom services concepts & solutions
  • Previous experience with programming and/or scripting
