Carson Energy, a division of URS Flint, is currently looking for a Pipeline Foreman to join our team in Lloydminster.
Performing front line supervision for crews from 6 and up to 30 workers.(Assign daily tasks)
Assessing the crews’ readiness at the onset of each shift.
Participating & conducting annual Performance Management reviews for the personnel within area of supervision.
Ensuring crews execute their work within the parameters of the Flint Safety Management System.
Ensuring crew members are paired properly in order to maximize efficiency and safety (green hand program).
Interviewing personnel in regards to training received. (Ensure they have the proper training prior to tackling new tasks.)
Executing work packages as per the project schedule.
Performing daily work site inspections monitoring safety and quality of work.
Reporting all daily progress utilizing the Shift Work Assignment.
Initiating the change and trend management process for work that is not identified in the work package.
Following the Construction Execution Plan while executing work activities.
Performing audits of gang-box to ensure tools are accounted for.
Regularly communicate work progress, schedule variance, crew and safety performance to the General Foreman.
Meeting and reviewing any issues or items out of scope with the General Foreman.
Preparing and submit daily timesheets on behalf of the crew and provide them work instructions.
Preparing a daily toolbox meeting and deliver to the crew at the on-set of daily shifts.
Providing a sign in headcount sheet to the General Foreman at the onset of each daily shift.
Signing the Pre-requisite form in acceptance of each Work Package.
Signing off on the Summary Close-out form indicating completion of each Work Package
Local candidates are preferred; however, LOA may be available for the right candidate.
Basic computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
5 + years in a supervisory capacity (as a leadhand or foreman).
Industrial Foreman training is considered an asset.
A good understanding of scheduling reports and cost reports
Trade or technical certification is an asset
