UPS is hiring 2 part time evening sort ramp employees at the Hamilton/Mount Hope Airport location.

Ramp employees are responsible for pulling air containers from the warehouse to the ramp, weight and balance, tug driving, de-icing the plane in the winter, and loading the aircraft.

Ramp employees work outside and are exposed to all weather conditions, rain, snow, freezing temperatures, and in the summer very warm temperatures. You will need to dress appropriately for these conditions as UPS does not supply you with a uniform.

Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must have drivers license - G2 minimum
Must wear steel toe boots
You will have your hearing tested at a clinic downtown Hamilton (set up and paid for by UPS)
Must be able to lift up to 70lbs unassisted
Must be a team player

Position:
Part Time
5 days per week Monday - Friday
Start & Finish Time: 20:30 - 23:45 (3-5 hours per day but flexibility is needed as you may be asked to stay beyond 3 - 3.5 hours)
Salary: $10.75 / per hour - 21.84 / per hour after 30 months of service

This is a unionized position. You will have a monthly union due deduction. The union also deducts an initiation fee of $50 after 90 working days.

UPS processes a criminal background search on all employees at a cost of $20.50 which is reimbursed back to you after 90 working days.
