Senior Wealth Strategy Associate (Former Employee), Dallas, TXOctober 16, 2014
Pros: free coffee carts usually 3 days a week
Cons: not a very supportive environment
It was a great place to figure out how to self learn. There were a lot of different personalities that didn't really seem to want to focus on anything but themselves. On the job training was almost non-existent.

Good to have Job security, But not a Great place to work
Office Associate/Reprographics Operator (Current Employee), Chicago, ILSeptember 24, 2014
UBS is a great place to start off your working expereince fresh out of high school, or a cool summer job. As far as making it an career, it is not the first option.

It is very difficult to move up in the company, even after showing the knowledge needed to accomplish such goals.

A great education in European business policy
Director (Former Employee), San Francisco, CASeptember 22, 2014
As a director in the Private Banking Division of UBS, you're working with very fine people, many from overseas. UBS took care of clients with white-glove service! Everything from the simplest presentation deck - which were hardbound - to a full court press for a large piece of business, UBS made sure that the prospects and clients felt pampered.
I learned – more... a lot about foreign exchange due to the large number of overseas clients. I also learned a great deal about consumer lending and customized credit solutions. – less
