Moderate level of hardware experience is preferred. The technician will be diagnosing hardware issues (bad RAM or hard drives, motherboard issues, processor issues, video issues, etc). Being able to accurately and quickly assess issues is a must. The person needs to be organized, diligent, work independently and requires time management skills. Experience with Microsoft Office products is definitely a plus as you will be using Access to record audit data. Speed with a keyboard and mouse will save time and increase productivity. The person will be on his/her feet all day. Being able to lift items upwards of 40 to 50 lbs (printers) is a plus.
Shipping / Receiving Responsibilities
Experience in Shipping or Receiving Departments is preferred. The person will need to know and understand the importance of a Bill of Lading, be able to properly prepare outbound shipments (pallets and boxed items), and will use Fedex Ship Manager or UPS Worldship. The position may also entail setting up international shipments which will include commercial invoices and harmonized codes. Some computer experience will be needed for our Navision (NAV) Accounting & Distribution system. NAV will be used to both scan and create Purchase Orders while Receiving, and for scanning order pick lists in Shipping. Position requires a level of computer literacy as well as diligence, work ethic, organization, self-starter, etc.

Applicant must agree to a background check and have a valid Canadian Passport. They must also be able to travel to one of our U.S. facilities for training from time to time.
