Our government client is currently seeking a Records Management Clerk with the following requirements:
LANGUAGE – Unilingual
SECURITY – Secret Clearance
MANDATORY CRITERIA (resource must have the following)
1. Successful completion of two years of secondary school or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience is required is required
2. Minimum of one (1) year of experience providing records management services is required
3.Physically able to safely handle files and boxes up to 20 pounds (lbs)and to wheel carts up to 50 (lbs).
4. Must be able to work long periods while standing up and perform repetitive movements, such as work with files located at different heights in the file rooms in various locations.
Retrieve specific files from the storage location. The work involves reviewing approximately 3000 volumes of files to reorganize, reintegrate in chronological order and remove any exact duplication. Then update the records management system with the exact inventory of volumes and date ranges, re-label and return the files to their location.
