Job Title: Patient Travel Coordinator

Compensation: $27,300 to $32,760 annually (depending on qualifications and experience)
An additional $225.00 per week for after hours on call
Position Type: Full Time/Permanent
Hours of Work: 35 hours/week and after hours on call
TSAY KEH DENE:
The Tsay Keh Dene First Nation is located in the Rocky Mountain Trench, approximately 575 km north of Prince George, B.C. The Tsay Keh Dene Nation’s Territory is comprised of 862.2 hectares bordered by the Williston Reservoir, the Finlay Forest Service Road and the Finlay River. The band membership of Tsay Keh Dene is approximately 400 and the administration is based out of two band offices located in Prince George and Tsay Keh Dene.
The Patient Travel Coordinator is responsible for providing services such as patient travel, administrative and clerical services, report writing and patient/staff services in order to ensure effective and efficient operations in the Health Department. The Patient Travel Coordinator acts as a medical travel coordinator for members within the community and staff travelling to and from the community. Other duties as required by the Director of Health and Wellness.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications, skills & abilities:
- Completion of Grade 12 or equivalency
- Completion of Patient Travel Office Procedures course work
- 3 – 5 years of office administration experience preferred
- A combination of education and experience will be considered
- Valid BC Driver’s License and Driver’s Abstract clearance
- Criminal record check clearance
