Teacher's Assistant (Former Employee) – Langley, BC – 8 April 2016
Trinity does a really good job in everything except pay. I really enjoyed the experience and skills I gained and in many ways that made the low pay worth it. However, compared to other universities the pay of teachers assistants at Trinity is very low for possibly more work. I continued to do the job because I enjoyed it, it was great experience and some money is better than no money.
Security Guard (Former Employee) – Langley, BC – 3 October 2014
A typical day at work would start with shift briefing from previous shift and begin with an initial patrol of campus to see what the atmosphere was like that day. I was able to build on previous experiences and skills gained in other fields. My co-workers and management genuinely enjoy their roles on campus as did I. The hardest part was the long hours but the benefits were the connections made with students and staff.
working in a Christian environment, building community, use of facilities

TWU is a campus where people are respected, no matter what their position. There is a continual quest for quality education, programs, user satisfaction, as well as a quest for excellence in all areas.
Creative and fun workplace with lots of research behind the practice.
Collaborating Instructor MA TESOL Program (Current Employee) – Langley, BC – 28 April 2012
A typical day is reading through students summaries and reports and doing the background reading on the articles assigned. There is also some classroom presence required for teaching through the modules of the course and assessing group presentations. Another aspect of the job is consulting with MA students about their research reports, and collaborating with head instructors over marking them.
The job is enjoyable because of the degree of collaborative engagement required by staff and students, but this can also have its frustrations.
