Seeking a senior Real Estate Law Clerk/Land Administrator with extensive experience in residential land development. Reporting to the CEO, candidate must be competent in handling real estate/land acquisition files from start to finish. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, problem-solving and analytical skills. Must be detail oriented, well organized and committed to internal/external client service. This role requires a career-minded person who is not afraid of hard work and strict deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex land administration procedures
  • Research information to understand needs of landowners and clients
  • Review audit packages ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Complete project-specific activities and coordinate all aspects of projects with staff
  • Understand all facets of project contract and budgets

Skills:

  • Post-secondary education in a recognized Land Administrator program or equivalent experience as a real estate broker or law clerk in a land acquisition environment
  • 4-5 years’ experience as a Land Administrator or in an Ontario residential land brokerage firm
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Office suite
  • Deadline driven with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data such as survey plans, agreements and title searches
  • Strong knowledge of industry, regulations, various Acts and agreements
