Guest Services Attendants are responsible for welcoming all customers in to Trico Centre and creating an inviting and friendly atmosphere for visitors. They are also responsible for cash handling duties including; admissions, memberships, program registration, product sales, rental revenues and ensuring our customers are happy and well taken care of. Qualifications:

  • Previous customer care experience preferred
  • Proficient and accurate in handling cash flow duties
  • Word, Excel and CLASS System experience
  • Must be able to work scheduled evenings and weekends depending on shift requirements
  • A strong sense of urgency when assisting patrons
  • Able to multi-task and work independently
  • Current First Aid and CPR required
  • Basic Security Clearance Mandatory at time of hire
  • Solid cash handling/balancing skills required
  • Detail oriented, high level of accuracy with numbers and organized
  • Able handle customer queries and complaints in a professional manner

Performance Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Performs work in a positive, friendly, helpful manner and treats all guests with respect, dignity and a smile
  • Offers tours to all inquiring guests as required
  • Solves problems and answers work related questions, transactions and program inquiries
  • Works as a team player and remains open to ideas and support suggested by others
  • Maintains and continually updates required training necessary to perform the job
  • Keeps Supervisor and team informed of any issues or developments concerning
  • Attends and is on time for all required staff meetings and training sessions.
  • Wears Trico Centre uniform and nametag for public and internal recognition
  • Keeps informed by reading and inputting information into the communication binder
  • Provides shift availability to Guest Services Coordinator monthly by the required schedule date
  • Maintains a professional and positive attitude with team members
  • Strong customer service; feel comfortable working with public
  • Answer telephone enquiries in a friendly manner and provide follow up phone calls
  • Process program registrations, membership sales and accurate cash handling
  • Complete daily functions in the Guest Services Department
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station
