Tree Doctors Inc. is looking to hire for multiple positions for our operations in Toronto, Ontario. Our head office and yard is located in Etobicoke and we operate all around the GTA. Tree Doctors is rapidly growing company with great opportunities for advancement. Only in 2012/2013 our clients were TTC (3 year exclusive contract for tree work) City of Toronto (1 year exclusive contract) City of Markham, City of Vaughan, Greenwin and Metcap Property Management; dozens of construction and development companies; thousands of residential clients through-out the GTA.
Currently we are looking to fill following positions:
Climbers - minimum 2 years of experience
Groundsmen - some previous experience in tree work and valid driver’s license is required
Consulting Arborists - ISA certification and experience preparing arborist reports is required
Estimators - Experience in estimating tree services and previous tree work experience is required
Climber's Essential Functions
Performs tree care duties (pruning, fertilizing, spraying, removing, stump grinding, inspecting, brush hauling, and planting).
Safely operates specialized arboricultural equipment (chainsaws, tree climbing saddles and ropes, ladders, aerial lift devices, tractors, skid loaders, brush truck, dump trucks, stump grinders, sprayers, injectors, and other heavy equipment).
Controls traffic around work-site, answers questions, and provides information and recommendation on tree services.
Able to maintain and clean all equipment and filters, keep blades sharp, and report other maintenance needs to the Tree Doctors’ maintenance manager. Cleans, maintains, and safely operates Tree Doctors’ vehicles and equipment.
Follows and readily accepts oral and written instructions related to tree work, maintains work schedule set by the project coordinator, and completes routine paperwork and daily time sheets.
Wears appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for the task, follows safety rules, and maintains safe working conditions.
Class "G" Operator's Driver's License
DZ endorsement, hydro license and crane work license are assets
