Travelport sold out employees
Worker bee (Former Employee) –  Kansas City, MO16 August 2017
Closed Kansas city office to go with a managed service provider (in India). Many years of experience and now do not have the experience needed to develop or help customers. Sad...sold out employees to save money. Not sure that will work in the long run.

Enterprise Product Manager, EMEA & Asia Pacific (Former Employee) –  London26 July 2017
Very nice place to work at, good leadership at CEO level. Time to market and product approval can improve but a good and friendly environment balancing personal and professional life correctly.

Great worklife balance but no room to advance
Program Dir (Current Employee) –  Denver, CO29 June 2017
Great worklife balance but no room to advance due to average age of employee. This is an older company that has a lot of it's original employees still working there.

Varied and challenging work
Finance Manager (Current Employee) –  Slough, Berkshire25 June 2017
Varied work, but always short staffed. Pay is below market, and senior leaders aren't working in their specialist areas. Good future if can get investments right. Not a lot of cash, shareholders and debt holders may get itchy.

Leadership and management was OK, went through a lot of changes
Director, Product Marketing and Management (Former Employee) –  Parsippany, NJ7 June 2017
Company was run by ex-private equity team. Did not have much experience in leadership and management. Too many changes in management, company was a tough place to work at.

Corporate culture has changed since this company went public
Senior Software Development Engineer I (Current Employee) –  Los Angeles, CA2 June 2017
It all depends on your manager. I found some managers are too bossy and has discouraged free thinking and thwarted creativity. Company is also trying to outsource a lot of the jobs. A lot of cost cutting going on. Used to be a very good place to work but it is now declining.
Pros
working remote and nice bonus
Cons
outsourcing jobs

Company is changing
System Engineer (Former Employee) –  Denver, CO10 May 2017
Travelport is a company that is continually changing. Upper management is constantly changing the structure of the various groups leading to confusion and frustration of the staff.

Tough environment with little opportunity for growth
Senior Customer Advocate (Former Employee) –  Atlanta, GA18 April 2017
Most of Travelport's employees are close to retirement age or very young. The new management team closed the Kansas City Office and laid off a lot of the development talent in favor of off shore outsourcing.

Good location, good team
Senior Business Analyst (Current Employee) –  Sydney NSW3 April 2017
A typical day is generally business with meeting (Story Inception/sprint planning/retrospective). There is a good team culture within the IT Team, however there is some collaboration lacking across teams.

Hardest part of the job juggling multiple requirements at once (only happens occasionally).

Most enjoyable part of the job is the great teamwork that we have developed, particularly since moving to Agile process.

Project Manager (Current Employee) –  Atlanta, GA19 March 2017
Work/life balance is horrible. Expected to work weekends and all hours day and night. The ability to progress in your career is non-existant. Virtual employees are ignored. No jobs for virtual employees. Salary is anemic and supposed bonuses are a joke. Annual raises are sad.

Good company to work for very professional, state of the art offices and a good ethical culture. Hardest part of the job was my 47 mile into work along M3 so work life balance suffered.
Pros

Incredibly precess driven, great from a SOX perspective but the human level can go amis...

I think TRPT has potential to be a great company, but it feels like the company was stagnant for many years and they are trying to recover now from it.
