Guest Service Team Members are expected to perform the following tasks:

  • Attend to all concerns of the guest proactively and professionally.
  • Take, cancel and change room reservations.
  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms
  • Process group arrivals and departures.
  • Clerical duties like process telephone calls, faxing, photocopying, handling mails, etc.
  • Provide information on hotel facilities and services.
  • Provide general information about points of interest in the area.
  • Ensure special requests by guests are completed in a timely manner.
  • Process wake-up calls, Investigate and resolve complaints and claims.
  • Process guests' departures, calculate charges and receive payments.
  • Maintain and balance a cash float during each shift.
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures.
  • Perform other assigned comparable or transient duties required by the position.

Job Requirements:

  • Previous hotel experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have valid License to drive in Alberta.
  • Able to work mornings, evenings, overnights including weekends and holidays
