Duty Managers are expected to perform the following tasks:

  • Be an example and lead the team as necessary.
  • Attend to all concerns of the guest proactively and professionally .
  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms, including for groups.
  • Clerical duties like process telephone calls, faxing, photocopying, mails, etc.
  • Provide information on hotel facilities and services.
  • Provide general information about points of interest in the area.
  • Ensure special requests by guests are completed in a timely manner.
  • Investigate and resolve complaints and claims.
  • Maintain and balance a cash float during each shift.
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures.
  • Perform other assigned comparable or transient duties required by the position.

Job Requirements:

  • Previous Supervisory experience in hotel preferred.
  • MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE ( 2 to 3 years) to work in a hotel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have valid License to drive in Alberta.
  • Able to work mornings, evenings, overnights including weekends and holidays
