Piping and Boiler Planner (Former Employee), Wabamun Lake, ABNovember 9, 2015
Pros: Geat co-workers
Cons: no money in the budgets to work with
My time at TransAlta was a joy most of the time. Co-workers where easy to work with and listened to what you had to say. Management was ok most of the time but with tight money thing could get a little tense at times.

Human Resources Analyst (Former Employee), Calgary, ABDecember 7, 2014
In my opinion, if you have experience, you will move forward quickly, but they ask for more experience than job actually needs. Succession planning is terrible as they promote the teachers pet and not the best employee. Too many specialist, not enough leaders
