Trans-Continental Textile Recycling is looking for a physically fit driver with a Class 5 license and knowledge of the Greater Vancouver Area.
Your main duties include driving a 3.5-tonne truck in the Greater Vancouver area picking up clothing from multiple bin sites, ensuring that bin sites are kept neat.
Responsibilities: Do Pre-trip and Post-trip Vehicle inspection, Pick up and count clothing bags in a bin, Place and Remove clothing bins, Bin Maintenance, Clean Bin Area
-Operate 3.5 tonne trucks to pick up, deliver clothing bags and wiper skids and various other items
-Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspection of vehicle
-Load cargo, goods, and merchandise
-Provide customer service by picking up clothing bags from bins based on the route schedule, delivery over established routes
-Record information on pick-ups and deliveries and report any incidents or problems encountered
-Clean up around the bin
-Maintain a clean state for the bin
-May communicate with central dispatch using mobile communications equipment.
-And Other Duties Specified by the Scheduler or Dispatcher
1. Eligible to work in Canada
2. Must have a Class 5 Driver's License
3. Must have years of safe driving experience
4. Must have two (2) years of commercial truck driving experience, or equivalent experience
5. Must have ICBC RoadStar GoldStar Rating
6. On-the-job training is provided

Mainly in the truck, on the road, and outside the truck.
Work Shifts typically last from 7 to 10 hours, and starting late afternoon till 1am or 2am of the next day
Raises are done according to skill level.
Bonus system will be discussed in the interview if asked
Note: Schedules are made monthly based on an agreement between scheduler and drivers.
