The CSR position is responsible for making sure the movement of freight across North America or even across the globe is setup, handled and completed properly. You could be helping a customer resolve a shipping emergency, helping another customer go green or helping a customer maintain manufacturing level requirements. We teach you the skills necessary to operate in the transportation industry by utilizing our own, proprietary technology. Our rapid growth requires that we constantly add motivated, enthusiastic individuals committed to providing exceptional service. As a CSR, we need you to create strong vendor relationships that ensure our customer's requirements are being met. The CSR will also have to put the customer first, go the extra mile in order to maintain their loyalty.
The main responsibilities of the position consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
- Create and maintain Strong Vendor Relationships
- Carrier selection and cost negotiation (OTR, IMDL and LTL)
- Transportation Operations (Pick up, tracking and closing of shipments)
- Preparing required shipping documentation
- Communicate with clients and carriers
- Minor Accounting Functions
- Data Entry
- Limited Customer contracts and negotiations
Knoledge of Microsoft Office is a must.
