Great position to get back into the Aministrative field.
Administrative Assistant (Current Employee), Bremerton, WA – January 30, 2013
Pros: i work 8-4, mon-fri, there isn't any micro-managing, i am able to do classwork when i have a free few moments at work.
Cons: lack of/bad management, lack of communication within company, low pay for heavy work load.
I come into work, make the coffee, check messages and mail, go through emails, and then begin the "real work".
I set up interviews for potential employees, put together their personal folders, enter their information into the company database.
Every Tuesday I begin the payroll process for employees and then Thursday I print and send out their checks.
I – more... create Purchase Orders for company invoices and scan them to the Representative that submits them for payment.
I also submit security information on personnel that we send to work out at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard.
I work out of a small branch of the company, so our office only has three staff members. – less

Overall a good company
Wind Turbine Technician (Current Employee), Avon, MN – January 29, 2013
Working for Tradesmen has good and bad sides. I am on the road constantly and don't see the family much. However being on the road and work many hours it all seems to fly by. I have learned a lot from working with many different contractors. I enjoy the opportunities to learn from the various companies as it all builds the portfolio.

Good company to work for if like the construction environment.
Field Consultant (Former Employee), Raleigh, NC – January 25, 2013
Pros: have someone that will help you find the right skill set for client.
Cons: example: short breaks, healthcare, eif not get bills paid within a certain 30 days from client you won't get the commission.tc.
First you must get the client. Then get the skill set to get the client. Then go to dispatch onsite. A lot of hand holding.

Good fall-back position
Electrician (Former Employee), Kansas City, KS – January 16, 2013
Tradesmen matches skilled trade professions with contractors who need their services on a short-term basis. There is no holiday nor vacation pay, though there is an insurance option. Work is not steady, though sometimes jobs last several months. As a temp worker you are often assigned the tasks that none of the regular employees want to do.

Cons: very long hours, company didn't provide the best sales tools to do your job.
A great sales job and the people I worked with were great. My manager was a great teacher. The hardest part of the job was lack of communcation between management and sales staff. Most enjoyable part was talking to people daily.

A productive place to work.
Consruction Worker (Former Employee), Uniontown, OH – September 23, 2012
Pros: other trades can be learned as you worked.
Cons: short breaks
Through Tradesmen I worked at Kent State University as a construction laborer and a typical day would consist of demolition and heavy industrial clean ups.

Management was very strict because of safety reasons.

When working with my co-workers we all worked together as a team and completed our assignments for the day.

The hardest part of the job was – more... the heat and walking 4 stories high for 8hrs. everyday.

The most enjoyable part of the job was communicating with my co- workers as we did our job. – less

Ok for First Job
Administrative Assistant (Former Employee), Memphis, TN – September 20, 2012
Pros: pay
Cons: integrity of management
This was the first job out of the military for me. The pay and benefits were great for someone just starting out. The managers that were eventually replaced lacked integrity to their employees. The managers were eventually replaced due to this.
