The Designer will be responsible for the execution of high impact, strategic online and print ads, promotions, national campaigns, contests, newsletters, rich media ads, print and email creative.
As an Intermediate Graphic Designer you will be reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will work collaboratively with the Marketing team on high end print design, branding, magazine layouts, large signage and more.
Deliver creative design requirements for the department including monthly signage, event signage, magazine ads, contests, email and direct mail, invitations, online ads for Facebook and Twitter as well as the corporate web page
Participate in creative briefings and generate an array of strategic creative ideas and approaches
Execute social media tactics aimed at creating and maintaining customer engagement using Facebook, Twitter, the corporate blog and web page, etc
Provide infographics to effectively tell the story for each social campaign or project
3 yrs demonstrated design experience
Print design experience is a must
Postsecondary education in Graphic/Web/Multimedia Design or related field
Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Dreamweaver)
Ability to take Photoshop designs and create standard compliant HTML/CSS code
Bilingual French-English, written and spoken will be considered an asset
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: TBD/3 months with possiblity of permanent hire
Candidate must be in commutable distance of Woodbridge, Ont.
Overall compensation for this role is positioned as ‘competitive’ and will vary depending on your level of experience, and number of years you have applied your skills.
