The Town of South Bruce Peninsula is seeking a Temporary Part-Time Administrative Assistant for the Emergency Services Department (1 year parental leave contract)
The Town of South Bruce Peninsula is accepting applications for the temporary part-time position of an Administrative Assistant to the Manager of Emergency Services.
Key Criteria: The ideal candidate will have a solid working knowledge of municipal environment, strong computer skills, excellent communication and organizational skills; and possess the ability to work well in a team environment.
Responsibilities: Reporting to the Manager of Emergency Services, the successful candidate will be the initial point of contact to the public for the Emergency Services Department. The responsibilities include but are not limited to; maintaining various files, providing clerical support to the Department and providing information to the public on various processes, By-laws, Acts, Regulations, etc. applicable to the Emergency Services Department.
Wage Range: Pay grid 2, Level one of Town of South Bruce Peninsula corporate pay scale - $26.26 per hour
Hours: up to 24 hours per week Monday to Friday
Status: Temporary Part-Time 1 Year
