I would arrive at 6:45am, grab my work orders for the day and plan out in which order to go to each location, take the company car or cargo van and go gas up then head to my first location. I inspected fire extinguishers, fire hoses, smoke detectors, emergency exit lights, water sprinklers as well as the fire alarm panels. I also repaired all of the – more... above. I would chat with clients as well to let them know what I was doing and explaining what I would do as we would walk through, buildings, or schools or big garages. I would drive back to the shop at the end of the day and unload the vehicle if I had any extinguishers to unload for repair that day. My first "real job". I started as an apprentice sprinkler fitter. I learned how to manage a job site and install automatic fire sprinkler systems from start to finish.
