Dry company to work for
Account Manager for TES (Former Employee) –  Vancouver, BC24 March 2017
A learning experience, that taught me there are better places to work. The reason why I feel this way is because they preach about not being a company that micro-manages their employees, but were dishonest about this fact. The pay structure is one of the lowest salaries in this field, to which I now know this reason.

Good Job for someone saving up for post-secondary
Delivery Driver (Current Employee) –  Vancouver, BC12 February 2017
Torbram Electric Supply is a decent environment to work at. Different positions require different and more responsibilities as any other job.
Being a driver is an average position. Enjoyable to drive around the Lower Mainland in beautiful cities. Familiarizing common roads and highways will become second nature to one. Delays in delivery and pickups due to traffic and weather conditions is expected. Having to lift heavy items is a daily routine. Dealing with good and friendly coworkers is a plus. Product knowledge is an asset prior to inside sales, but not mandatory. Management often neglects employees and focuses more on the customer service. Good money for someone with no or little bills to pay. However, not an ideal amount pay for someone living on their own. Hard to move up in the company, and when one does... it's still expected to not have the greatest of pays.
Workload and responsibilities is not worth the pay this company has to offer, including overtime pay.
Pros
Good job for someone who enjoys being on the road
Cons
Not the best pay

Lack of Reward
Inside Sales Associate (Former Employee) –  Abbotsford, BC11 October 2016
You are expected to do everything, all the time, and all for nothing. Low pay, high stress, high demand, and lack of professional growth. Advancement within this company has nothing to do with experience. Its a simple matter of how long you have been with Torbram, and who you are best pals with in management. This is a dead end job in my opinion and I would never work here again even if my wage had been doubled...

There was just no mental challenge or professional growth.

A great place to work
Company Driver (Current Employee) –  Mississauga, ON13 September 2016
Always a full day of deliveries, and always on the go. Managers and coworkers are all great to work with and make the job very enjoyable. Nothing is overly difficult but emergency rush orders can really throw your day an unexpected curve ball. The best part of the job is being on the road as well as interacting with customers.

great people, great work environment

Worst company due to management
Account Manager (Former Employee) –  Richmond, BC23 July 2016
Completely mismanaged, unprofessional at the Richmond, BC office. Voiced concerns to General Manager and requested a transfer. They took his side. In the exiting interview, I expressed my feelings of his management skills (or lack of) professionally.this was a case of misrepresentation of the position and wrongful dismissal.

Local and convenient

Good company to learn the electrical supply industry from the ground up
BRANCH MANAGER (Former Employee) –  Burnaby, BC21 January 2013
Working for Torbram is a peculiar in that they offer splendid rewards for the highest achievements but also the most stubborn resistance to them. If you are a keen sales minded individual who can accept the limitations of working for a company focusing on small markets, then Torbram is a great company to work for.
Pros
strong profit sharing incentives
Cons
weak corporate structure make achieving bonus difficult

Go to work check mail, answer phones and direct calls, data input, filing, process client payments, sent faxes, checked inventory and up dated it as required, made bank deposit daily, sent and recieved packages, greeted customers. Management was good and co-workers were pleasant. The most enjoyable part of the job was regular set full time hours, and of course always having contact with clients and customers.
