Our client is looking for a dynamic, self-motivated individual capable of thriving in a fast-paced start-up environment with skills in research, web content production, writing, editing, journalism, and a strong passion for the Latin American and Caribbean region. You will get the opportunity to become an important part of a project to unite together different countries.

The web content producer will be responsible to find, select and product engaging content for users. In addiction to writing and proofreading site content, this person will also work closely with the technical team to maintain site standards with regard to new development. The web contact producer will also be responsible for crafting site promotions, email newsletters, online out reach campaigns and managing social media presence. He/she will work closely with the technical, production and marketing members of our organization, so strong communication skills are needed. The ideal candidate will also have a strong research, editorial and writing skills in both long and short form content and comparable experience producing web based content is a fast paced environment.


-Research, select, source interesting stories, articles, videos, photos and podcasts on sports, business and culture from the web
-Load up the website with content to be ready for launch
-Moderate and supervise the acquisition of content to be submitted to the website by users or journalist abroad
-Work with the web director to upload and categorize content into appropriate sections of the website
-Produce or supervise the production of original stories, articles, videos, photos and podcast
-Produce new content that is enhanced with additional assets such as video content, links and photos

Knowledgeable and passionate about Caribbean/ Latin American countries and culture (especially Jamaica and Panama) an asset

Bachelors degree (or working towards a degree) in Journalism, Commendations or related field preferred
