Summary:
The Administrative Assistant, under direct supervision, provides basic administrative and secretariat support to a work group and/or Manager(s). They would read and route incoming mail. Compose and type routine correspondence and reports. File correspondence and other records in accordance with internal procedures. Answer telephone and give information to callers or route call to appropriate person; places outgoing calls. Compile and analyze basic information for inclusion in reports or presentation materials; prepare charts, graphs or tables as necessary. Schedule appointments for others and make meeting and travel arrangements, as required. Greet visitors, ascertain nature of business and escort visitors to appropriate person.
