Too Faced Cosmetics is looking for an experienced Business Development Executive based in Toronto to cover a territory including Ontario (Toronto), Quebec (Montreal, Ottawa), Nova Scotia (Halifax), Manitoba (Winnipeg) and Buffalo, NY. The main area of focus for this position will be to generate retail sales and elevate partnerships in designated territory through sales goal achievement, delivering seasonal education initiatives to retail partners, in-store event execution and representing Too Faced as a brand ambassador. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Retail Sales

  • Achieve seasonal sales goals by executing promotional and event calendars at store level
  • Adjust goal strategy, as needed, according to performance and achievement
  • Take part in all major event set-up and execution, leading the sales team and selling by example

Training & Events

  • Train all retail associates, inter-sell associates and freelancers on product line and selling skills
  • Conveying the brand mission and spirit to trainees
  • Understand retailer culture and work creatively with those parameters to effectively train and drive the brand initiatives with retailer staff, brand freelance and key influencers within the retail environment
  • Strategize, plan and execute events with retail partners to effectively build brand awareness, enhance store staff brand knowledge and drive sales volume


  • Weekly review of sales with focus stores; development of action plans to improve sales achievement and drive brand success
  • Build productive relationships with retailer leadership such as Store Directors, District Managers & Prestige Managers
  • Oversee freelancer invoice submission to ensure that budgets are utilized in the allocated month
  • Review and monitor freelancer performance
  • Typical schedule: In stores 4-5 days each week with 1 optional office day
  • Plan and book a strategic store visit call cycle that supports focus doors, effectively accommodates retailer visit expectations and successfully impacts sales achievement


  • Communicate with Field Sales Director at least once weekly
  • Communicate at least once weekly with all stores within territory and once daily with Top 3 volume stores within territory when the business warrants
  • Alert FSD of all out of stocks
  • Inform the store team of all seasonal activity (direct mail, catalog, ROP)
  • Bilingual (English & French) highly desirable


  • Manage and adhere to all freelance and travel budgets

- Must be based in Toronto
- High school diploma or equivalency, bachelor degree preferred
- Cosmetic/Beauty retail experience required
- Travel is more than 50%
- Excellent written, oral and communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and motivational skills
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Licensed driver with clean driving record
- Goals and results oriented attitude
- Must be creative in order to develop new ideas to drive and grow business
- Bilingual (English & French) highly desirable
- Must have a current passport for international travel
