Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated self-starter to join our team as a Research Coordinator in our Marketing Department. We are seeking someone who has exceptional understanding of the advertising industry on a research and statistics level, that can bring with them the knowledge and information on various media formats not just in Out-of-Home. Confidence without ego, plus the ability to work cohesively within a team is extremely important. The position will report directly to the Marketing Director and will be located in our Mississauga office (please note: Our office will be moving to downtown Toronto. Flexibility on work location is key)

Research Coordinator’s Job Duties:

  • Perform extensive primary and secondary research to build a detailed understanding of the target market, industry, competition, specific areas of growth and opportunities
  • Perform research into industry wide statistics and provide insight on how to use this research to better promote our products specifically
  • Analyze and synthesize research findings to develop valuable insight and strategic recommendations for our marketing materials and our sales team
  • Work with the Graphic Designer to creative error-free, client-ready information sheets, presentations and datasheets to present your research findings

Qualifications/Work Experience

  • A high level of self-motivation and energy, an optimistic, “can-do” attitude, and very strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a research position, preferably in the advertising industry
  • Creative and innovative out-of-the-box approach to research
  • Comfortable working with senior level staff
  • Project management skills
