Jr. Systems Administrator Job Description:

An instrumental member of the Cieslok team, the Jr. Systems Administrator is responsible for the daily operations of company’s network infrastructure, handing simple helpdesk tasks and I.T. administration. Must be flexible and willing to learn, professional and approachable as you will be interacting and helping staff at all levels, from sales to operations, marketing, to C-Level executives. This person will report directly to the Director of Marketing & Information Technology

Jr. Systems Administrator Job Duties:

  • Provide day-to-day systems administration and support to the company servers, networks, workstations, laptops and VoIP phones
  • Assist employees with installation of programs and configuration of applications and server
  • Perform and manage the daily and monthly system backups
  • Create tickets using internal ticketing system
  • Replicate employee issues and perform root cause analysis
  • Perform software updates
  • Build custom reports and dashboards in SalesForce
  • Add/remove fields/buttons or other basic functionality to SalesForce page layouts

Qualifications/Work Experience

  • IT Diploma with minimum 1-2 years experience in similar position
  • Familiarity with SalesForce
  • A working knowledge of VPNs and Virtuatlization
  • Experience with Active Directory
  • Exceptional Knowledge of Microsoft desktop and server as well as MAC Operating Systems
  • Experience with Office 365 applications
  • Superior analytical and planning skills a must
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a fun, approachable personality
  • Proactive approach to your duties
  • Problem analysis & problem solving skills
  • Good judgment & decision making ability
  • Flexibility in schedule to accommodate requirements of the organization
  • May require some evening or weekend work
  • Ability to work well under pressure
