I have always enjoyed working it helps me feel productive and secure.
Lead Quality Inspector (Current Employee), Oakville, ONJanuary 2, 2013
Pros: knowing that i have a job
Cons: not knowing when i will be working next
I am a hard working person that takes little time off and is willing to undertake any task and perform to the best of my abilities. I am on a floating shift and it can change from day to day making it very hard to orginize what little time I spend with my family I have very good relationships with my co-workers and enjoy all the diversity that they – more... show me. The hard is part of my job is the changing of shifts from one moment to the other, at times leaving me in a confused state as working 16 hrs would do to a person. – less

Operations Manager (Former Employee), Greensboro, NCJuly 20, 2014
Pros: benifits, enviroment
Cons: not in greensboro nc anymore
ThyssenKrupp is a wonderful company to work for if you have the right work ethic. I would still be with this company if my DC was not moved into the SC location. This is a company that offers great benefits and if you have a suggestion or a best practice idea they will hear you out and most of the time take action. TKAG (the mother company based in – more... Germany) is a long standing, great company to work for. Fortune 500 need I say more. Sad to lose this career cause I really thought this was the one I would retire from many years down the road. One warning for those entering into this company, If you are not a self starter and will not work hard and give 100% this is not the company for you. As an Operations manager for this company I drove forklifts, answered all calls, took inventory, handled all issues that came up but I loved every minute of it. That's who I am. – less

I Would com in and assign people to work stations. Inventory all parts on the warehouse floor that were ready to be inspected. Take them to designated work station to be inspected. Unload and load trailers . Do inbound and outbound audits on material coming off and going on trailers. The most enjoyable part of my job is being able to solve problems – more... and the communicating with personnel. – less
