Sandwich artist (Current Employee) – Toronto, ON – 19 May 2016
Its a very busy store yet there a lot of opportunity to learn. A very professional yet friendly environment with very positive people around. No matter how stressed or busy work gets yet there's always opportunity to smile and have your moment. Its only when its busy that when you loose your consistency I get into a difficult situation but with the help of my co-workers and working as a team, I have good team bonding here , I cope with it.

I have a general interest in food and enjoy cooking in general. I enjoy the challenge of working in a fast paced environment. I would like to stay at Wendys because I like to move to restaurant management or perhaps district manager.
type of training will I receive
i might be addicted in working and forgot about going to school
Manager (Former Employee) – Guelph, ON – 14 May 2016
I have had nine hour shifts last twelve hours because of training heavily based on video instruction and very little time to train. I learned to handle multiple positions at a time because I was expected to. I learned that a job is not always worth the stress it creates, and a decent paycheck is worthless if you don't have time to spend it. My coworkers were the best part of this job. Customers and management were the most challenging part of the job.
50% off food while working as employee, 100% off as a manager while working
Stressful environment, almost no potential for advancement, few rewards upon advancement
Sandwich Maker (Former Employee) – Kitchener, ON – 8 August 2016
Wendy's is a very fast pace job. I had to memorize everything on the menu which was hard at first but all my co-workers were very kind and friendly which made it much easier. Overall it is a great environment.

I like working at Wendy's. It is a place where you can have fun as well as learn more from the customers. I got to learn a lot from my co-workers and from the customers. The hardest part of the job is having long hours shift where as I enjoy working while talking with the people.
Cashier/cook (Former Employee) – Dartmouth, NS – 4 May 2016
drive thru sandwhiches was always where i was placed (aces in their places) became very fast at the tasks i had to accomplish in very short amounts of time. how to bump and slide is what i learned and what i mean by that is as an example (you got time to lean you have time to clean) co-workers were very nice people never had problems with anyone not pulling their own weight. hardest part of the job would be the short amount of time you have to complete an order and get it out that window. most enjoyable part was also the speed at which things needed to be done. always kept you on your toes.
free lunches and got to work with some friends
short shifts everyday rather than long shifts (which i prefer)
Crew Member (Former Employee) – Brantford, ON – 11 July 2016
Not a hard job to get the hang of, it is an easy job to do that can easily be worked around your schedule. It is easy to work here as a student, or someone who has other priorities. I personally found that management were not properly trained to deal with certain situations.
Side Cash, Front Cash, and Customer Service (Current Employee) – Langley, BC – 1 May 2016
The Wendy's for which I work eagerly provides their workers with many hours. They allow you to pick which shifts you would prefer to not do. I've recognized my skills in fast food through this company. However, the manager and district manager are extremely strict and don't allow you to miss work regardless of the reason. They threaten to take away hours if you don't comply to all their standards, many of which are extremely unnecessary (such as wearing only black socks or dress pants).
Crew Member (Former Employee) – Winnipeg, MB – 21 May 2016
Everyday at the restaurant would be quick and fast. The customers would walk in on a regular basis, handling the dining room and drive thru would get challenging but achievable with a hard working team. The management was on point with delivering quality service and reducing production cost. The co-workers were helpful and believed in team work.
