Id say that Wendy's was a productive fast-paced work place.
Team associate? (Former Employee) – Campbell, CA – 11 May 2012
Great food for great customers every day going to work i knew id have a great time. I learned from my management to take the initiative to learn skills they could not teach me. Co-workers Id try to motivate to stay positive and out going but in my opinion the most enjoyable part of my job was the satisfaction i received from grateful customers.
great cashier experience, better restaurant management, customer care confidence obtained, overall a great experience.
low pay, hectic work schedule, lack of attention from management.
Part-time employee (Former Employee) – Hamilton, ON – 19 October 2017
A typical day would involve (if the morning shift) prepping the veggies and fruits for salads, preparing certain meets and doing a once over of the entire kitchen. Then preparing sandwiches until lunch or manning the grill
Server/Cashier (Former Employee) – Barrie, ON – 16 October 2017
It is an awesome place to work if you make friends, but if you ever have an issue - it will not be dealt with by management. I was sexually harassed by a male employee and he was never fired even though he was groping female staff. This is what you can look forward to.
Front + Drive thru Cashier (Former Employee) – Toronto, ON – 13 October 2017
A stressfull and demanding job requiring 9 hours of standing and high stress rushes, you'll be lucky if management ever schedules enough people and be prepared to work under staffed and fill in the missing roles yourself.
Discounted fast food
Long hours, not allowed to sit during slow times, they treat you like cleaners and demand you to clean
Cashier (Former Employee) – Nanaimo, BC – 12 October 2017
A typical day was a stressful day. Managers and supervisors who just yell and get mad when you do something wrong, instead of being a leader and showing you or letting you know the correct way of things. Management definitely had favoritism towards certain employees and made others feel put down in a sense.
General Manager Operations (Former Employee) – Calgary, AB – 7 October 2017
It is diversity culture you deal every day with your crews and u meet them day in and day out , after some time it feels like you can trust them to give them any task and they do it with delinquent and interest at the same time you do have different customers where you have to do what the order and make sure they get the right product that they Had ordered this not only tells you that your are doing good but you have customer trust too
Sandwich Maker & Cashier (Current Employee) – London, ON – 2 October 2017
Very bad place to work especially if it is your first job. They expect you to do everything and know everything about a fast food restaurant. Some of the managers just don't care about their employees and their health and safety.
